Founded in 1999 as a division of Bay Area Deconstruction Inc., Thor Demolition has grown into one of the most established demolition operations in Northern California.
Thor Demolition started with a simple idea: that demolition could be done with the same discipline, planning, and professionalism as the construction it makes way for.
Nearly three decades later, we're the demolition partner Bay Area developers, general contractors, and commercial property owners call when the schedule, the site, and the documentation all need to be right the first time.
We're licensed, fully insured, OSHA HAZWOPER certified, and a Green Halo certified hauler — with a 91.3% recycling diversion rate that puts us at the top of the industry in California.

Dean founded Thor Demolition in 1999 with a focus on doing the unglamorous work of demolition with the kind of care that builders notice.
Twenty-seven years later, he still personally walks the major jobs — and that hands-on standard is what defines every Thor crew on every Bay Area site.
